About The Midlife Crisis

The Midlife Crisis is an editorial and community platform for women navigating life after 40.

We talk about the things that often get flattened into ‘wellness’ or ignored altogether: ageing, beauty, health, relationships, sex, money, work, motherhood, friendship, grief, reinvention and the strange business of becoming more yourself while everything around you keeps changing.

MLC began with a simple frustration. There was plenty of advice about how women should age and not nearly enough honest conversation about what it actually feels like. We wanted to build a space that was intelligent, funny, useful and unafraid of the messier parts.

Founded by Ainee Nizami Ahmedi, Editor of ELLE India & ELLE Gourmet India, The Midlife Crisis brings together stories, expert voices, community conversations and experiences for women who are very much still in the middle of becoming.
